What We Believe About...
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men. The believer will be resurrected to eternal life, and the unbeliever to eternal judgment. At death the spirits of believers pass immediately into Christ's presence and remain there in conscious bliss until the resurrection of the glorified body when Christ comes for His own, whereupon the spirit and body reunite and remain with Him forever in glory. However, the spirits of the unbelieving remain after death conscious of condemnation and misery in hell until the final judgment of the great white throne at the close of the millennium,
when the spirit and body of unbelievers reunite to be cast into the lake of fire, not annihilation. Thus unbelievers will be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power
